My son has ASD. He was awarded high rate DLA last year with low rate mobility.
I think the high rate reflected that he rarely went to sleep before midnight.
In may/June, his paediatrician agreed to try melatonin.
My son is now sleeping by 9-9.30, which is a huge relief.
I've waited a few months to make sure it wasn't a fluke, but he is now reliably sleeping earlier.
I need to let the DWP (?) know this don't i, I think he will go down to middle rate, or does the need for melatonin still mean he will receive high rate?
