DD (age 9) has recently been struggling to walk her usual distances. (which were not far anyway.)
She can walk through pain when motivated enough and I think with enough breaks to sit down.
she can not walk some days and then do something active another day.
Do we keep pushing the walking tolerance (aiming to refer to podiatry and OT again) and therefore limit what we do as a family, bearing in mind that ds has ASD and needs to walk a lot to help regulate his emotions, or do we keep pushing the walking and have some sort of mobility aid to pick up the slack sometimes? (her dad had to carry her back from a favourite activity, I am not able to carry her)
Looking for information while I get in touch with OT.
