Hi the LEA has recently agreed to my request to assess my 8.10 year old daughter for an EHC Plan (not supported by school as "her levels not bad enough". We have diagnosis's of Auditory Processing Disorder (from GOSH), Vision Processing Disorder (from Behavioral optometrist), Dyslexia (from Dyslexia Assoc.) but she also has working memory, and auditory memory and attention issues, and other issues. She has spelling and writing levels of

Hi OP, take a look at the pdf file downloadable from this link - www.ndcs.org.uk/professional_support/our_resources/assessments.html - it's written for parents of deaf children and the professionals that support them, but there's stuff you'll find useful here.

Section 2.8 is what you need. WISC, British Ability Scales & the Raven Matrices are pretty standard tools for Ed Psychs to use here.

Your school sound like a bunch of arsewits, on several levels...
