Does a watch or similar reminder system like this exist?

DS2 has type 1 diabetes. I want a watch that buzzes to remind him to test his blood / take insulin as he has just started secondary and wants to do it on his own (but I don't trust him to remember). I have seen reminder watches for children with adhd to prompt them etc. what I can't tell is whether it's possible to get one which works weekly as I don't want to be setting alarms every day. So for eg on PE days he has to do extra test before exercise so I would like to be able to set different alarms for different days of the week.
He can't have a phone or smart watch in class (& even if I did get agreement for him to have it as exception would be too tempting). I just want something that can do a weeks worth of reminders. None of the info seems to say whether reminders can only be set for a day at a time.

My Fitbit allows individual alarms to be set - maybe look at that?

I have a FitBit - the surge watch. I love it and use it for all sorts of things
