Back to school tommorow after the holidays, all we have had for weeks is i feel sick,i feel poorly i dont want to go back to school, we had a relativley good holiday only around 3 meltdowns which is cracking.

Then it will be back to school and the meltdowns will start absolutely every night. i am not looking forward to it at all.

Usually the first 2 weeks of the hols are hellish, then we get a good couple of weeks then 2 weeks before school it gets hellish again, but thats not happened this time,i wonder why?

Not much support, I know, but if it's any consolation I'm feeling exactly the same. Daily meltdowns in term time, a grand total of 3 over the holidays, one of which was a result of 'coping' with being diagnosed. This is the first time we're returning to school with a formal diagnosis - I'm so worried it won't make any difference. I'm so worried that my darling boy that I've been enjoying/managing all holiday will revert to term time hell... as I say, not much support, but I completely completely get what you're feeling. I can't imagine we're alone in that either.

Sympathies. Dodgy day here too with ds2 - no full blown meltdowns but lots of threatening behaviour. We are despairing as he's already in a supposedly special school so really don't know where to go now. So far ds1 OK but he is not back till Tues.
