The joy. Time to leave the safety of summer and don the hard shell again

I think it's going to be a painful but good term this one. Hopefully I can leave hearings behind us until secondary after this

Tell me about it. Just arrived home from holiday to a final statement. It was expected and it is reasonable but my word, it was a shock back to reality experience opening the envelope.

I started again today too , Dd3 isnt going back to school but I booked my first meeting of the academic year with the LA SEN team!! To try to sort out the pigs ear of a statement they sent me in the holiday!!

I swear, I really wish teachers and professionals could see, that it is not our children and their difficulties that leaves us emotionally wrecked. They can mean our lives are more challenging than if they didn't have their difficulties for sure, but the sleepless nights are spent more often on the wording of an email, than trying to come to terms with a dx.
