a strange email from mumsnet? talking abot swat teams and hackers and stuff?

I think it's explaining why MN was offline for a while.
There is also a list that the hacker put online showing 3000 usernames and passwords, so if you haven't changed your password, you should do it as soon as you can.
There are loads of threads in active explaining it better than I am though!

The site was hacked, they sent armed police to Justines home.
You need to change your password, becuase loads of them have been posted on twitter.

There's a complete list in chat (but with passwords and IP addresses removed) of those whose details have been published.

I've had the email. I really struggled to log on the other day and had to change my password etc.

Better to be safe than sorry.
