I haven't tried it yet but I think a few people from the SN board do. Hopefully someone will be able to help.

I gave my son them from age 7 for Dyslexia, and there was an improvement.
I contacted the people in Durham who pioneered this. I was told:
Equezen EYEQ. Comes in a silver and blue box. Boot have it, and it is often buy 2 get one free.
Dose was 2 capsules 3x per day for 6 months, and maintenance dose 2 capsules a day. DD now 12, and I think they did help.

Here's an old thread that might be useful too:

I found that EyeQ made my son (4, ASD) very hyper at night. We switched to Eskimo Kids and that seems fine. Don't know if it's made any real difference - but he is making progress!

thanks seems to be mixed as to whether it works or not i would have to give a liquid form as he wont swallow tablets

but may give it a go

My son (ASD,3) has been having EyeQ for the last year. It seemed to help at the time as he'd refused to eat anything but fish pie for weeks and when we started on the EyeQ he accepted all his usual meals again, but that was the only indication that it made any difference! It's difficult to know if any progress made is natural or a result of the omega 3, but it can't hurt. DS is still non verbal a year later so it certainly doesn't perform miracles!

Hi bubble
I use eye q for DS1 and eskimo kids for DS2, Eskimo kids has a much higher lever of EPA & DHA which are the essential bits, but I can't get DS1 to take it as he doesn't like the taste. I also give them twice the 5ml dose a day, after hearing a radio 4 report which was showing very good results with higher doses. Have been using it for about a year and a half, I do think it helps.

You might need to steer clear of EPO with ASD (therefore not EyeQ, poss Eskimo). It does seem to make children with ASD hyper, I have seen it with my own eyes. Definitely worth a go if he will take it.
