Chewy bracelets?

Can you get chewy bracelets? To stop ds demolishing his sleeves? He's very pleased that he's chewed two holes big enough to stick his thumbs through. I however am not so pleased. It's getting worse as his flapping has got less

It is annoying. Ds looks I found him in a skip at the best of times. I got my eldest some nice clothes to hand down as I've got three boys it's hard to find nice clothes. Now ds is shredding everything. His appearance was mentioned on OT report. Sigh.

I don't know how he can stand to have a sqeeky nylon type school jumper in his mouth.

DS has one of the chewigem ones. Stops him chewing his tops but he ends up in a slobbery mess anyway! I am going to try one of the smaller pendant style ones see if he is better with that.

I was recommended chewelry (I think I spelt that right!) Basically, chewy jewellery. Haven't got round to trying DS with any yet but it's on my ever growing 'to do' list!

I will ask school if they will allow him to wear something like this, that's the next battle.

I've got mine from chewigem and sensory direct. I didn't ask the school if DD could wear them, I just sent her in them. She has been using them since preschool and is going into year 1 in September. It's now part of her uniform! I've noticed 2 other girls wearing them now so she has set a trend.

Do make sure if it's a necklace that the lanyard is a quick release, that is all the school were bothered about.
