This is horrifying and one more testimony to the inefficiency of the NHS as well as the greed of the pharmaceutical companies.

Another reason why i would NEVER get my child "vaccinated".

But this is in the paper that claimed that microwaving milk killed thousands of babies every year!
I'm not saying it's not true, just that I wouldn't believe it on this evidence alone

My doctor told me he gets paid for the MMR's. I think this is common knowledge.

Further, i would very much expect that if parents went and asked their doctors for a list of the vaccs, the dates, the batch numbers etc, that they would be hard pressed to get that information.

I think some mistakes are made but tbh I wouldn't trust anything in the Sun.

I know that ds1 was almost given 2 MMR's in the space of 2 weeks. I'd arranged with the HV for ds1 to have the DT imms instead of the DTP as he's allergic to the pertussis element. The MMR booster is given at the same appointment usually. There was a mix-up somewhere and the nurse only had the DTP and no DT so ds1 just had the MMR booster and I arranged for a 2nd appointment the following week for the DT. At the 2nd appointment the nurse was just about to give the injection when one of us (dh I think) said "That's just the DT isn't it?" and she said that it was the MMR booster. No one had bothered to read his records and see that he'd already had it.

Still not quite the same though as the Sun's reports of 9 jabs in one day though.
