DS psych has told the LEA that he needs a break for a week or so as he is too stressed for home tutorage after what the "learning mentor" did last week.

They have sent him letters calling his professional conduct into place and said they have checked up on him with the NAS
they said that DS tutors havent noticed any anxiety blah blah.

The letter he sent back was really good, telling them that the tutors are not experts in ASD that he is and he will be the professional that diagnosis depression and stress and not a part time tutor.

So on Tuesday his tutor turned up, DS answered the door and he was very panicky, (we had told him that he was having a week,s break) she said she knew nothing about him not going into school.
Then an hour later her boss phoned our house and asked to speak to the SENCO and DH told her that she had the wrong number.

Then today his other tutor turned up and again DS was very panicky, the tutor said he knew nothing about him having a break but the boss of the pupil referral unit does know.
I had enough and emailed our psychologist this afternoon and he said they are very insensitive and is getting on to them first thing tomorrow.
DS has been really upset today, he started crying cos he didnt have any ketchup on his hotdog and cos his dad asked him to put his patrick spongebob away he cried again.
Now i know that this is an underlying sign of the anxiety/depression that he has but getting them to see that is another thing.

We have a big meeting on Weds and im not looking forward to it one bit, its going to be very fraught but our psych has told us not to worry that he will sort out anyone who is challenging him which i know that he will but its still upsetting.

DS is back to where he was a year ago, not wanting to leave our side, sleeping in our bed, crying you name it....

FFS! Just when you think these people can't possibly screw things up any more than they already have!

The Psych sounds excellent.
