We won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so happy, his now going to go to a school that will help his needs.

So glad this is over, but I know I have many fights in the future.....

Now I can fully concentrate on my exams.

Thank you mums netters, as I said previously, I would not of done all of this without the incredibly knowledge you all bring to the special needs board.

Oh adrianna22 I probably sound like a patronising old mare but I'm so incredibly proud of you! - lol

Your child is SO lucky. You fought an exceptionally vindictive opponent. Let's hope they leave you in peace now.

Well done!

adrianna22 · 26/06/2015 23:36

Aww thanks StarLight.. and you don't! No need to worry and thanks everyone too.

To be really honest, the LA didn't really have a case and after visiting so many special schools, I knew the majority of special schools in my LA cannot meet DS need and I have a feeling the LA had trouble finding one.

Did you represent yourself, or did you have help from anyone?

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 27/06/2015 08:29

That's fantastic news, well done!

deadwitchproject · 27/06/2015 10:12

Well done fantastic result!

KOKOagainandagain · 27/06/2015 11:26

Brilliant news!! Your win is further proof that it is not just the most complex children with LAs with water-tight cases that go all the way to tribunal and then wait for the ruling. Some LAs seem to have blanket policies (esp indi in part 4) that determine whether or not they go to tribunal.

Good luck with your exams. Other students will be stressing about them but I'm sure that they will be a piece of piss in comparison - maybe you should thank your LA for making you stronger Grin
