Feeling sick all the time

At the moment my son is avoiding milk at all costs,he says hes feeling sick,this is happening all the time now, is it because hes anxious? or something else? i will be taking him to the gp,however i wondered if any of you experince this?

How old is he?

Hes nearly 8.

Is it only milk he's avoiding? Does he ever drink it?

Could be that it's not agreeing with him, or that anxiety symptoms (from worrying about the milk making him ill or worrying about anything else) are making him 'feel sick' - difficult to tell from what you've said.

My DD's default anxiety mode seems to be a very non-specific 'I feel sick' when she's experiencing the physical symptoms of anxiety.

Ok thanks guys, he seems to feel sick all the time, even when hes not had milk, i dont know why he thinks its the milk thats causing it, but hes avoiding any products with milk in them all together.

It does sound like it's possibly anxiety related then. Does he have a fear of illness, or vomiting? Probably worth writing down a list of anything you can think of that might be relevant for the GP.
