My son is 15. (Just) He has Aspergers, ADHD, oppositional defiant behaviour and onset adulasent tics. Due to different factors and the fact that our rural village College can't cope with his needs. Cambridgeshire) He is living with his grandfather in Crayford.
He has been offered a place at the above school via education SEN. I have been told it is not a good school, there is gang culture and bulllying is rife. And is a rough school. Is this the case??
Can anyone offer me any advice for schools the Crayford, Darford area who would be able to meet his needs and is also a good school.

Many thanks K

Hi I live close to the school but have no first hand experience of it. They have a big banner outside of school saying they get about 90% 5 a-c grades etc. but of course they does not reflect SEN. the school does not have a good reputation locally. And many stories in local paper reflecting the bullying that appears to go on there. Your other worries seem to sum up the general view of locals. A friend of mine recommended Trinity school in erith , and has been really pleased with the Sen provision there. Hope you find what your ds needs.
