Have in the past done most of work myself and represented self at tribunal. Although I was successful, it was v hard and I just don't know if I have the strength and even time practically to do all this again. I am quite cash poor so can't afford legal firm but am thinking of using Fiona Slomovic as could probably stretch to this with small loan from either bank or family member. Is it worth it? Has anyone used them? Do you always get Fiona or are there several people working with her? Any feedback would be great as even paying these more reasonable fees will be a stretch and will involve some hardship for us so I need to be confident it will be money well spent.

Have you thought about contacting IPSEA? They provide representation, though I advised that you call them ASAP so you can place yourself early on their waiting list.

Many advisors have told me that i should spend the majority of money on independent reports rather than pay for a law firm or legal representation.

We used Fiona few years ago. We did most of it ourselves and she just checked the appeal and then took over at the end for the hearing to keep costs down.
