My dd is starting school in August and has developmental speech delay. She's attending a mainstream school but it's a support class that's been put in by the council. At almost 5 her speech level is about a 2 year old.
Should I be applying for DLA for her? I'm her main carer and translate to everyone for her. She doesn't need support in any other forms really, fully toilet trained etc.
