tribunal and working doucment stress

not long now to the hearing - the tribunal directions state the WD should be sent to them today (I know often they do go to the tribunal later than this due to both parties still working on them)

I sent it back to the LA on final evidence deadline about 2 weeks ago and the LA still not returned it - emailed them last week and ask when it was coming back, no response so emailed again today and cc'd in the tribunal but no response yet - theres loads of amendments still not agreed and in all honesty can see the LA not agreeing anything more but just frustrating that they now are now even communicating with me at all. I guess there is nothing I can do but wait but I want to try and get it sorted as much as we can as I don't want to waste time on the morning of the hearing on it

They are an utter nightmare arent they bjk! They dont even consider that the timescale rules apply to them!! Really feel for you!

I have made many amendments to the working document and so far I haven't heard anything from the LA. I've got until Monday to send the final version to SENDIST. My representative said that if the LA haven't made any comments to the WK, then I should send in my version of the WK and add a note to the LA stating that ".... I haven't heard from my LA so far regarding the amendments to the WK and therefore I am sending you what I have already done..".

I can only think of two reasons why the LA take forever to respond to the WK. 1. They are either lazy, have too many caseloads or juggling too many things at once. 2. They are delaying ( as a tactic) so on the day of the hearing, you will spend so much time going through the WK and hence the hearing is adjourned.

Ah! Sorry stupid phone, it kept reposting my post.

well its come back this morning with nothing else agreed so pretty pointless really especially as they were nagging a few weeks ago for it to come back to do then do nothing with it! they haven't even in part 4 named a school - just says a mainstream school which is quite worrying now as in their paperwork said they are naming a school which is requiring improvement and other 2 schools said no but they want the tribunal to rule one of the 3 schools is suitable - they really are awful

nope large parts of part 2 not agreed and in part 3 as well. they even change her dx from ASD to ASC - asked them ti change it back as she is dx with ASD and they wont - they want ASC in - didn't know the LA were also qualified medical professionals as well - silly me.........
