I was hoping someone could help me, My little one was diagnosed with (ASD) Autism Spectrum Disorder recently after two years of appointments. I made the mistake of filling out the DLA form myself and was turned down, I applied for Reconsideration around two weeks ago and added a lot more information including supporting information for the claim from specialists. I was just wondering how long it normally takes to get a decision as I was told it could take 20 weeks, Any experience and advice would be gratefully appreciated.
