How do I apply for respite or money towards respite?

Hi, I know a few people who receive respite for there children but I have no idea how to go about applying for it.

I have 2 dd's with autism and have recently split with my husband so things are hard work at the moment. I was wondering if I would be entitled to any respite or money towards respite ( if I find my own ).

How do I go about finding out?

Contact the children with disabilities team at the council. Every area does it slightly differently but the council should be able to put you in touch with the right team.
