Tax credits and dla

When ds2 got upgraded from Mrc to Mrc and lrm tax credits said they didn't need to update his info unless he moved to hrm

So ds3 has gone from Mrc to Mrc and hrm. Phoned today and they said they only need to know if he goes to hrc!

Doesn't seem right to me, she checked with a collegue who confirmed she was right. I don't even think she put it onto the system

But the last letter I have from them only says two children with a disabilty element - no more detail of what rates etc.

Does this sound right?

Yes thats right. You get the disability element for low and middle rate care and severe disability element for high rate care. Mobility rates don't count.
