ADHD nurse

D's has first appointment with ADHD nurse today..

He was DX last year and has an appointment with a consultant in a couple of months other than being told he has ADHD and given a list of websites to have a look at I don't know what an ADHD nurse does?

D's sleeps OK and me and dh are not looking for medication route atm he's doing really well at school ( has a reaaly really good teacher)

What happens at a nurses appointment?

She was actually very nice had good advice and will even send letters for us to back up us moving :-)
She had so much interesting stuff out fir ds to play with he was mostly contained in the room. Although she said there's not more she can do with us as we look like we know what were doing :-). We can go back anytime if we have questions etc.
