Did anyone else see it.... family with two boys who were autistic and they moved from Clacton in Essex to Shetland Islands... part of the worry was the eldest sone ( 13/14) who was having difficulty at school and it looked as if he was to be sent away to boarding school.. the parents did not want that and chose to move so they could live somewhere that may make life a little easier for all.

Having watched that ( tears for the family, anger at the film crew) I admire the mums here who are dealing with autism every day even more than I did.... the parent's resilience and pragmatism ( on the show) was amazing.....

Eidsvold - I watched that programme, it was called Safe as Houses. It was so real and so, so sad. I really felt for the mum, what a wonderful lady she was. I really hope they are happy there!!!

I saw Safe as Houses, it was incredibly sad and incredibly moving.

The parents were very very brave, don't think I could have had the guts to take that move.

Good luck to them
