LGO Complaint

After a month the LA has upheld my complaint. All very well, except they ignored the fact my sons entire LA file was printed out then left in public. That's been skimmed over.

I'm knackered, do I go back and thank the LA but point out I want a proper answer on this as it's DPA or go to the LGO now? I have waited over a month and my complaint I don't feel has been answered. I guess to be fair I need to reply to the LA.

Picking my battles is getting harder as my steam is running out

That's true polter, ico said they want to see the reply. I had the reply and all non specifics have been lumped into "internal matters" so I can go back and say that maybe a hand was slapped except I know it was actually promoted.

I agree, leave the business about the file with the ICO. I suspect they'll take it very seriously. But has the LA said what will happen as a result of your complaint being upheld?

Nothing will happen re complaint being upheld as far as I can tell. I'm surprised they upheld it.

Have they at least apologised? I would suggest you ask them what they're going to do to ensure there is no repetition, given that you're presumably going to have to continue to deal with them for some time to come.
