hi all, my daughter in yr 2 has had a consent form for me to fill in in order for her to be assessed. On the main concerns section they have ticked "specific learning difficulty" as I expected (we have concerns that she has dyslexia), but they have also ticked "medical". My daughter has several food allergies, but would this be of any concern of an educational psychologist? Or does this mean they have other concerns, thank you in advance for any replies

Ed psych don't usually assess medical conditions. The probably just ticked the box for the sake of it.
Ed psych will assess for any issues or conditions that affect your dd's learning and ability to learn. They will then give you and school advice and strategies to help her.
