Finally got a date for Ds to have an assessment. She thinks he may have some form of ASD.

The letter is from virgin care and said assessment will take all morning. As well as a full medical.

D's will NOT like the medical bit .... He has been mri scanned injected and poked and proded before can I just take all the results we have? He has genetic testing done and a neuro report. I can't see what else can be gained from it.
Anyone have an experience of in school assessment

If I were you I would ring them and say you do not want your DS to have the medical bit as he's already been thoroughly examined by the paeds and that you will bring the reports if they want to see them. I declined a medical in school for my DS for the same reason and just told them he was already under the paeds who had a full medical history.

Thanks it didn't even occur to me that I could say no :-)

I have all copies of his reports so can show them.
