NIL turned as is into statement

All the tribunal decisions about how rubbish the NIL was got ignored and I was told that the nil will be the statement with no additions. Mind you I don't have it, it's almost four weeks late and if their not careful we will be in jr before I get it.

All of my complaints was deemed internal matters or things that should have been brought up at tribunal. Even though they was in the bundle

Sendist have ruled in costs but not seen that either.

Fun, fun fun! Lucky me as I will have covered every posdible senario soon.

The process is long and time-consuming but also painfully slow, emotionally painful, expensive, frustrating, stressful and all the rest.

You are in the best place that you could be at this stage. Legally, you can only appeal content once a final statement has been issued. You are not allowed to simultaneously appeal against refusal to assess or the issuing of a NIL following assessment AND then go on to appeal the content of the statement which hasn't yet been issued. That requires that a document exists which can be appealed and requires another hearing to appeal content. Plus we all have to pretend that the LA will respond to the tribunal decisions and will issue a Statement which will not require appeal.

By going in 'heavy' at this stage (rather than at appeal of parts 2, 3 and/or 4) you have given the LA enough rope to hang themselves with and have increased the likelihood that they will concede (although ime this was on the day of hearing) or at least increased the likelihood of any hearing upholding your appeal. But the LA will still delay the inevitable as long as possible. It costs them nothing to play the long game in emotional terms and they can afford rolls royce legal services courtesy of the tax payer and they clearly don't give a toss about the best interests of children despite the rhetoric.

Don't expect the La to do the moral thing and fall on their sword but pace yourself so that you are still standing at the end. Honks (and chocolate).

I feel stupid that I expected them to take my complaint seriously and at least make a attempt at a piss poor statement. Lesson learned again. There is a bottom line low and that's where they stand firm.

I don't expect stage two or LGO to bring anything productive. I don't expect any consession by the la.

However I'm certain of the final outcome of this. It's already been spelt out

Don't ever give up! This is something I fight till it's over.

I want to give up. My la seriously make me fear for my safety. They are very sinister. Still I'm not walking away.

If you tell people that this is what you have to go through, they'll never believe you...

Except here, where we know just how true and how often it occurs.

My one experience of a complaint to the LA was that the LA reps spent a jolly time going round the countryside on day trips from the office, being very concerned, and reporting back. Someone who didn't dare show their face then made a decision.

The LGO used to have teeth, but is on a liquid diet these days. Unlikely to get a good result from them, unless you wanted an attempt to bite gum the LA

So JR it is.

And that they should be scared of.

I think that the result of JR is public with the names of the child etc removed. So the LA incompetence is out there for all the world to see. Eventually. I think.

But if they produce a statement, no matter how crap, then the OP will have a remedy via the tribunal, which will mean that JR won't be possible.
