Getting letter from DWP re DLA claim that they have appointed you to be person to deal with the claim for your child, to getting award letter/decision?

Today we've had the letter through to confirm I am the appointed person. But I don't know if the decision might come through soon?

What's been your experience?

Mine was really quick. I sent off lots of reports so I don't think they had to contact anyone before awarding us

I sent copies of all reports and got my award within 2 weeks !

Just checked our online banking and we have a payment! Rang them and they confirmed we have low mobility and middle care until she is 16! Happy does not even cover it! Thank you for all the help! Appears it had already been decided before the letter was sent out!
