Pressure suit is smelly

DD (8yrs) has a pressure vest to wear everyday and it's getting smelly under the arms. We wash it daily and she doesn't smell (have smelled her armpits after a day not wearing vest) but the material the vest is made of stinks. Any ideas how to de smell it? Or how to stop her next vest smelling?

It's a tight Lycra long sleeved top to help with joint stability and proprioceptive feedback. Our NHS provide one as costs £300, some health boards don't provide any. She has outgrown this one in 2 months so can't see them giving us 2. Label says wash at 30 and Orthotist says if we wash it warmer it may shrink.
Just smelled it and it stinks and smells dirty, no way she can wear it tomorrow

When I was wearing a pressure garment full time, Halo sports wash got it smelling nice -my nerve damage causes that arm to sweat massively, and under a plastic splint it got minging.

Hurrah! Glad that worked for you, and with Halo you know that it won't rot the lycra either
