Can anyone help I am trying to work out if my dd may be on the spectrum and would welcome others opinions.

My dd has spd, in addition to spd also has problems with the following - will only talk to certain people any strangers or certain family members etc she shuts down and wont speak at all. Has trouble playing and keeping friends just watches others. Prefers adults. When angry, anxious or upset she shuts down and cannot speak at all just grunts till shes calm. Talks excessively when at home and is full on so its not she cannot talk. Doesnt play with toys prefers arts and crafts or figures/odd bits she can move around or put into different pots. Loves her ipad its the only thing that keeps her still. Has spd and has something from all areas apart from smell. Has anxiety. No sense of danger. Needs routiene. Hard to get to sleep. Shes very much different to others her age. Loves nature and science and can retell things such as milking process correctly although her learning has been behind as she couldnt focus or sit still but lately its improving yet in science she is really really good its maths and literacy she struggled with. She likes to be a grown up and talks very realistically when imaginaging yet cant do imaginary play with toys. Theres prob loads ive forgot. She is currently being assessed for further conditions on top of spd (they are going super slow) I am not sure if she sounds like she may have HFA or not and if i should push for HFA/ASD to be looked at

You have listed some of the features seen often with HFA/ASD like being able to recall lots of detail on things that interest her, not going for pretend play with toys, speaking like a grown up,

I would think it would be worth asking
