I have a colleague wo has a 5 yr old dd with special needs and has just started school.
My Colleague would like to find some sort of holiday care for her dd instead of a childminder.
Does anyone know where she could start looking as she has no idea where to start.
TIA

Tell her to get on to her social worker, they should be providing support if she needs it - she may have to fight to get it but if she needs it, tell her not to stop until she gets it.

I don't know where you are but in my area they run playshemes that run throughout the school holidays, and on Saturdays plus various other activities like swimming etc. They're called Disability Challengers, my ds has had some great outings, it's really good value.
