No one has acknowledged we win the appeal

Just tell the LA that you do not give the LA's EP permission to assess your dc because it is a waste of public resources. They can rely on your indie EP (presumably that assessment is less than a year old).

I think your statement of SEN is supposed to last 6 months anyway.

Have they done anything to put your appeal win into effect?

Good Luck

my La were given 3 weeks to issue the statement which is next week so I would say there doesn't need to be an assessment as they've already assessed when they issued the NIL - the statement will lets be honest be the NIL written as a statement! so in theory can be issued very quickly.

my LA then going to issue an EHCP by may - im going to block any further assessments as there is no need as they have all the information they need.

2boys if it is a NIL win the you can seriously consider writing the Statement/EHCP for them.

You will do a much better job.

Just go through the reports cutting and pasting stuff in.
If there is stuff from the school that you don't believe then either leave it out or put it in as 'the school reported on [date]'.

As long as you trace exactly where each bit came from, it is fine. I usually end up with a copy of the expert reports with the paras I have put in the statement highlighted and a note about where you find it in the Statement.

And then a draft statement with every sentence/para identified as to where it came from.

No excuses for being late when you have been so very helpful.....

No acknowledgement still as I was back up the school today. I asked but it was all very "I don't know what will happen next"

I have written three times that the ep isn't seeing my son without me being informed. Basically questioned his ability as a ep as well ( with very valid reasons thanks to his spouting at tribunal)

We shall see. It never ends does it??
