Assistive technology - any recommendations?

Someone mentioned "clicker" to me to help with literacy. DC nine and still

Anyone? :(

I did a course a couple of years ago on dyslexia and these were all mentioned

read & write gold

talking first word
communicate in print
write on line

kidspiration
mindmaps
smart art

If I had to choose 3 I would go for dragon, mindgenius and read & write gold
