I gave up my job as a teacher to make life easier for DS with ASD and DD with possible PDA.
On Friday I have an interview for an admin assistant to a SENCO.
I will be expected to know about provision so am swotting up.
I know stuff has all changed.
Does anyone have a link to the most up to date documents I can look in?
I've found the SENDCOP and then some draft legislation on the reform of provision but that is from 2012.
All help greatly appreciated as this job will allow me to still do drop off and pick up and will be term time only.
I may even be able to weasel a Friday off as it is 20 hours a week and lunch is for wimps!

Have you looked at IPSEA?

I've now found the SENDCOP that lasts until March 2015 and the new one that comes into force from April.

I will now away and look at IPSEA. Thank you.

Lots of luck for the interview. Sounds like it could be a great move for you.

If you want to keep up to date I follow three groups on FB

Ipsea
Sossen
Special needs jungle

All three are great sources of info.

Good luck
