Dd1 has just been prescribed Tranquilyn (methylphenidate hydrochloride) quick release - we have just tried and she can't swallow tablets yet. She tried chewing it and it was obviously horrible. Am I better off crushing and mixing with something sweet she likes or should I try to teach her to swallow it with water do you think? Any experiences/advice? She is 7 and has ASD as well.
