Data sharing between LA and NHS for SEN while excluding parents

This caused a lot of problems for us getting a fair hearing/ putting a case together at tribunal, as pretty much all relevant info was withheld until we got it in the bundle. I just wondered if others posting here experienced this, and if you were able to limit the problem in any further dealings with the LA.
I think I signed something to allow data sharing early on and I am looking into how to retract it. Has anyone managed to do this?
Thanks in advance for reading and new year good wishes to all,
Px

Why don't you put in a data access request to both agencies to see what each holds? Easy to do.

Thanks Moondog, I will try that first.

Handy template and guidance here Pixell.
You will receive everything in which your child is mentioned-emails, the lot.

I did requests as above from the la and nhs.

Interestingly I asked for all information. Ie all emails, all written notes. I got lots, but the la rep sent me a data dump, I saw emails that wasn't sent to me before. Eyebrow raising ones!
