DS (7) gets seizure activity (just arms and legs) at night (this is settling down as he gets a bit older) and whenever he runs a temperature (which isn't). Sometimes he just doesn't sleep. With varying degrees of frequency he needs nighttime supervision.
I've found the easiest solution for me is to for him come into my masshoosive bed. Eventually both of us get some sleep, and it has improved his sleep patterns (and mine).
However it occurred to me that he is getting older that really isn't the most appropriate long term solution? Another couple of years max? I'm sure im not the only one in this position so I was wondering what other people do.
Me sleeping in my own bed is a big deal for me as my mattress helps keep back issues at bay. this year I am hoping to renovate (hopefully extend) my bedroom and nows the sensible time to "future proof" my room, space for a futon or zbed maybe
Any ideas appreciated
