We are struggling with bed times, and have been for about 8 months now.

Just got DS into bed, was reading a quiet story, sticking to a very strict routine, when Santa knocked on the door, collecting for charity.

A huge tractor drawn sleigh, fairy lights, Ho Ho Hoing, music etc.

Very exciting, but I'm NEVER going to get him settled again tonight.

we have never had this before, I was surprised.

I heard the door knock, heard DH open it and say 'OH MY GOD'. I rushed down, thinking something dreadful had happened...

DD was so excited too, and she is 11. She really really still wants to believe, and tries to convince herself that is is all real.
