Ok.

Looking for specials schools for DS, that focus on speech, language and social communication skills, that specialises in autism- but don't really use the TEACCH approach.

Like the furze down school.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Sorry Grin

DS is 4.

Anywhere around London, will do outside of London if need be.

Autism and language focused.

Meath is supposed to be good for speech, communication and language, it has a very good reputation, it is however not Autism specific.

Been to Meath- they do not take kids with autism unless it's Aspergers.

The Link in Croydon? Papillon House in Tadworth?

Have you seen Paray House in Feltham? Its SaL Special School, half children have DS and other half mixed dx. Not sure if they have a peer group though for 4 years old.

What about the Rise in West London? Its an ABA school with lots of emphasis on speech and social comms.
