Ggghhh!!! School not working with me

I asked the senco if she would inform me if the la requested any one to assess ds. They agreed yet today I'm told by the la three different people assed him last week at school! The ep, slt and ot. No one told me!!!

All reports bang on about how normal he is. How pleased the school is with him.

I can just see them all laughing about us in the staff room. Poor disalusioned mummy. Bring on the tribunal!

La applied to sendist for evidence deadline extension this morning - then submitted these report three hours after the deadline.

Ep said he talked to me twice which is pure bull. I spoke to him once and decided he was a jumped up dick and didn't bover with him again.

I am so mad. Seething. Can't talk to those lieing school prats ever again. Why? It's like being back at school with childish bully's.

I'm lost for words for you.
Surely they have a duty to tell you if he is being assessed.
I'd feel exactly the same.

I feel like in going insane.

You had a right to be informed and a right to be present if you child was assessed by a professional!

2boys, that sounds absolutely awful. Three professionals assessing your ds without your permission, I would be livid!
I'm afraid I'm not familiar with your case but it all sounds very stressful and incredibly unfair.

To be honest 2boys, I would have put the request in writing, with face to face or phone calls people can claim to have "forgotten" that you asked to be told.

I believe you do have a right to be told but it doesnt surprise me that they havent!

You do have a right to be present at any assessment. As a health professional I would be shot if I saw a child without parental consent. I think it is harder to complain that they assessed as polter said but you do have a right to be there (or at least given the option) so should have been told. If it was me I would take some advice on it.

I don't mind him being assesed. Both reports so far don't really back up the la. What I don't like is I asked the senco to inform me of any assessments as I was paying for my own private ones. If the la where to repeat them I would loose possibly £1000. That's one reason. Second is that the ot told me she was going in to assess and could I meet her after to talk to me. The senco said she had no idea it was going on - so I didn't turn up for the meeting as I was waiting confirmation it was going ahead. It did go ahead. No one called me to say I needed to go in.

It's just continued lying. Yes I will tell you when some one assess him. Opps three people in one week but no word at all? Once could be a mistake but three people in a week and I don't need to know? Why agree to keep me in the loop then not inform me?

How can I work with them? They tell me something then go back on their word. I give them reports, they dispute them and loose them.

Everything is so much harder than it has to be. Why? The la rep went in without me knowing until the tribunal. Where is the basic mannors of communication?

Plus thinking back to the day he had two people assess him he had a meltdown when I picked him up. Now I know why.

Plus to find out today at the tribunal deadline? Not even via the school?
