Dla Renewal??

Hi,
I applied for a DLA renewal for my 8 year old son on 17/09/2014 and have still not had a decision back yet (making it just over 9 weeks now). His award does not run out until 22.01.15 but last time I sent of a renewal it took less than a month. Does anyone know the current timescales for renewals? Thanks

We did ours beginning of September and have just had the renewal confirmation.

As I understand it, it is quite slow at the moment
