Cod liver oil & autism

Anyone using cod liver oil on their ASD kids?
DS1- just got diagnosed- minimally verbal at 3. Doesn't really use his words to communicate.
Anyway tried sevenseas orange syrup & in 1 week already better eye contact & better listening skills.
Not sure wether it's the best brand though.
Anyone with experience of any other recommended brands or knows what dosages should we be looking for?

How did you measure eye contact and listening skills?

Fish oils good for everyone in dark countries.

It's supposed to help dyspraxia so it can't do any harm at least.

we use omega3 with oil with a high Epa content. it does not help with speech or so but Dd is a lot calmer. we notice within a few days if we run out of a bottle.
