I'm really hoping someone can help.

I'm looking for a good private educational psychologist in the Yorkshire area. Dd has epilepsy with a symptom being abcence seizures, she's on medication but whilst her class work seems in the main to be good she falls apart when she has any exams or tests. She's 12 at the moment so we have a bit of time to sort things out before the exams cause an issue but I'm desperate to try and get this sorted for her before she looses any confidence at all.

She's such a bright little girl if anyone can recommend anyone and perhaps give me some idea of costs I'd appreciate it!

I am not in your area, so can't recommend but when I was looking our paediatric consultant recommended someone and then I heard his name again via school. Does your school give you any positive advice? Have you spoken to the school Senco? We paid about £300 to have our son assessed. In our case it was money well spent.

Thanks so much. She has another consultant appointment in January so I could speak to him.
School have been ok, varied in terms of support really, the school senco is good but trying to get the teachers to do what she suggests seems impossible and some are just shrugging their shoulders about her differing exam results. I'm sure some think that it's me being pushy and causing her stress which is effecting her exam results which is just not true.

Thanks again for your response it's given me some things to think about.
