Carer's allowance delay

As my earning vary (but always below the CA treshold), i am getting CA every 3-4 months after a reassessment. I am paid retrospectivly.

I sent my august- october details in over a months ago and they still haven't look at it, i.e. my CA from August-Oct is still due. Usually they process it within a week or 2 but tjis time it takes forever. I am a bit in a financel mess niw because my CA claim is not being looked at. Rang them but they don't know when it will be processed.

does anybody know if there are timeframes within which they should process it?

I only just received CA for the same period. I am the same as you as classed as an irregular earner therefore have to reapply every few weeks. I phoned them a couple of weeks ago and they told me there was a backlog over the summer but usually should be done in 4 weeks.
Hopefully you should receive it soon.
