My son (high functioning ASD,ADHD,OCD) is at a grammar school who applied for a statement for him. We have just got the draft statement but school feel they may not be able to cope with him much longer as he is off his meds. Our catchment school has a unit but no spaces in his year group. EP thinks a special Asd school may not be the answer so HELp please! Any recommendations where he can get the social and emotional support and national curriculum schooling nearby. Boarding is not for him or me. Thanks!
