Am I wrong to be annoyed?

Dds year group are going on a trip monday and I was only told today about it and that she is not allowed to go. She will go in as normal and have to work elsewhere, not been told where yet.

Back story is she is on half days and has been since the second week of term, many exclusions, manages to go in between two and four days a week at the moment. She is highly anxious about school, hates it and her teacher. Positive referral to a PRU has been made as she is very close to being permanently excluded. Becomes disruptive and quite often violent when she can't cope. Waiting on a referral to try and get an ADOS and hopefully an ASD diagnosis.

She can't cope with change and her class lsa who she works very closely with will be on the trip. Any changes and they need to prepare her in advance.

I am annoyed as they are already excluding her from swimming each week, even if I was to go with her, it would be rewarding her bad behaviour apparently. They think she is being naughty deliberately and knows what she is doing even after being told she isnt and her behaviour is coming from being anxious. They know I am trying to get a diagnosis.

There was no discussion about the trip or any options like me going. The school know I work evenings so it wouldn't be a problem work wise.

There is a panto trip soon too that hasnt been mentioned although hopefully dd won't be at the school then.

It's like they are counting down the days until the get rid of her until she is good again, all the bad behaviour has gone, hence the positive referral to the PRU. I am going with it as it's our only option to get out of a school that is failing her, and may actually be able to help her fully more then her current school.

Just tell (note not ask) the school you will be keeping her at home.
