Anybody else's child obsessed with this film? More specifically the part where Spencer chases Hiro and Thomas and Hiro's new parts fly off?

Both my boys are crazy about it and reenact it constantly, with anything they can get their hands on!

yes, both of my DSs are obsessed. They love the Misty Island film as well. The new Tale of the Brave film went down well, but its not a patch on Hero of the Rails or misty island, apparently.

DS1 is 6yo, nearly 7. He is dyslexic and dyspraxic, I think (we're waiting for the ed psych to think that he is old enough for it to be worth assessing him). DS2 is 2.6 and severely verbally dyspraxic. There are a lot of moments in the film where he says "uh oh" (which is all he can really say).

They're both Thomas & Friends obsessed. I am choosing stocking fillers for them now, and they're basically all Thomas related!

Mostly 'Dragons' here but thomas still a firm favourite and we know all about hiro too!

Yes, sorry, should have mentioned that it's Thomas!

DS1 (6) has always loved trains, and is obsessed with their component parts. I think the part where Hiro's bits break is right up his street.

He makes Hiro from Playdoh, paper, Lego, building blocks, not to mention the actual Thomas toys he has. He draws him repeatedly with different colour parts on and woe betide you if you aren't sitting there listening to all the details!

DS2 (3) knows the whole sequence off by heart too now.

DS3 due in a couple of weeks and I'm sure he'll come out of the womb reciting it!

Yep, and blue mountain mystery as well. DS1 used to be obsessed with an episode where Thomas got stuck in a snowdrift. I had to hide all flour, sugar, salt, shaving foam etc or he would use it to re-enact the story with his train set.
