Possible ADHD?

I've always brushed off the questions about whether or not DD has ADHD with saying it's just her personality and she's just over excitable. She does tick most of the boxes on symptom checkers plus ADHD and Autism are prevalent on both sides of DH's family. Now that she is 7 the temper tantrums when she is overstimulated or tired are becoming harder to brush off.

It wasn't something I intended to pursue as she is very sociable and does very well at school. I don't want to and doubt there is need to medicate her and she has a good diet, the main issue I have at home is I'm incredibly impatient so the easily distractedness and forgetfulness can be quite challenging!

However, this year at school she has been moved off the high performing table, despite having done well on her sats and being one of the only free readers in the class, and put on a low performing table. This in itself isn't a huge worry right now as it's so early in the school year and the teacher claims that all children are doing the same work. My concern is that she is now on a table with a girl who distracts and bullies her in equal measure and directly next to a boy who has similar issues to DD. I think this will affect her education negatively as she was doing so well sitting with children who are quieter and calmer than she is. I've been in to talk to the teacher twice already and have another appointment later in the week.

Am I being overly dramatic? I know a lot of you have children for whom this type of thing affects every aspect of their lives and don't want to trivialise that by pushing minor issues with my child. Any advice? Or grips if I need one!
