Despite having help increased and input of OT, SALT and counsellor, ds IEP's targets remain the same.

Despite not meeting these targets, rather than increasing the help, they are decreasing it and placing the responsibility on ds.

I have just received his new IEP and as usual its not SMART. I have rewritten every IEP so far to make it SMART, however when evaluating they are still being very vague.

He has a statement, what I do next?

For example previous IEP (which I wrote)

Mathematics/ Numeracy

Ds will be able to use a variety of methods to calculate mathematical
problems.

Given a mathematic method, ds will be able to use this on at least three separate occasions in his work. This will be explained by Ms x daily by giving ds 10 minutes practice before independent learning.

Evaulation - This has been partly achieved and will continue to be a target.

Current IEP

Same target

Ds will continue to try and work towards his maths target.
