My DS (8) has ASD and all things sensory are a complete nightmare. A particular issue is brushing his teeth. He still uses 0-3years toothpaste and there's a cursory wave around the mouth, lots of gagging and precious little plaque removal.
So I tried the Aquabrush Toothbrushing app with him last night. He was aware it was a little babyish
but he's competitive and loved all things screen- based. So, he did I full 2 minutes of fairly good brushing (best he's EVER done in his life). He gained 20 points which they then use to clothe a little Avatar figure thing called a Nurdle. The Nurdle sings a song for 2 minutes whilst they brush and tells them when to change side etc. thought I'd share in case it helped anyone else.
