Hi

DS started reception today.

He was really good, he didn't bother about his new school uniform and the new route to his new school. Even though DS has ASD, change has never really bothered him.

But he did embarrass me on the school playground. He wanted to run around and play on the climbing equipment, I told him no as they might call his name soon to go into the class. Well DS obediently did what I said, then looked at me then spat on the floor Hmm. He has been doing this spitting issue since his had his tonsils out and now does it when he doesn't get what he wants.

He then cried because he wanted to play his favourite game on my phone.

Then as soon as he got inside the class, he cried a bit, holding on to me as he didn't want me to go. But soon lined up with the rest of the children and did look
Back a couple of times when I was going.

How did your ds get on adrianna? My ds has just completed his first full day (though I took him in late as he had a paed appointment). Apparently he sung in the taxi all the way home. The escort had no idea what he was singing but it was very repetitive Grin. He also saw his new OT today but no feedback (OT aren't very good at that).

Even NT kids struggle thus term and their behaviour goes downhill. Lots of early nights are needed!
